T'quinn chuckles to Dyane.

Dyane takes a deep breath, mutters under her breath and charges the vine.

Dyane runs at the vine, trips, and goes over the edge, arms and legs in frenzied swinging before landing in the water on the tummy. *YIKES*

Dyane yyyyyyyeeeeeeeoooooooooowwwwwwwsssss!

BlackAdder winces but grins.

Calana giggles as Dyane goes over the edge.

Arianwen oh dears, 'nother one.

Channie blinks and wrinkles her nose.

T'quinn hides a chuckle to Dyane and gives her a pat as she walks by, "You OK?"

Rickon looks over. "You okay?" he asks Dyane.

Ceara winces at Dyane's cry. "Oooh, bad."

Tarin collapses to the ground laughing and gets his wet self covered with sand.

Dyane wraps her arms around her tummy and moves up the hill. With a audibly softer voice, she says, "Channie ... you can go now." She nods, smiling at Rickon, "Oh, just fine ... lost some weight there, tho."

T'quinn winces, "Poor Lady Dy..."

Channie nods and skips up to the vine, wagging a finger at it before she makes a go at grabbing it.

Channie grabs the vine and dives simply into the water, rippling the water only slightly.

Dyane pokes Quinn on her way up and sticks her tongue out at him.

Ethan cheers

Vtanth watches the goings-on with amusement dancing in his jeweled eyes.

Lorita laughs softly and shakes her head. "I'm glad I haven't tried it yet. I shudder to think of what would happen."

T'quinn winks to Dyane, chuckling merrily.

Dyane applauds Channie.

Tarin applauds.

Dyane says "Kaeya! Go!"

Kaeya hmms? at the sound of her name, "Oh, yeah." She sets her flit down gently.

T'quinn applauds and smiles to Lorita, "It's really not all that difficult."

Channie smiles up at Dyane, then holds the firelizard for Kaeya

Dyane stands next to Quinn, hoping his good luck will rub off on her. She pauses, looking at him and then patpats his arm.

Ethan releases Psuedo, and whispers to her

Kaeya shirks her towel, taking a deep breath, and calming herself.

Kaeya grabs the vine, swings far out, releases, and does 3 backflips before knifing into the water with nary a ripple.

T'quinn cheers for Kaeya.

Dyane applauds!

Ethan smiles

Channie wows and cheers for Kaeya!!

T'quinn wipes some of his good luck on Dyane.

Tarin applauds loudly, "Very nice!!"

Elaira applauds.

Kaeya smiles, "Thanks..."

Dyane says "Psuedo! Go!"

Psuedo swings out on the vine with one hand, releases, twists forward, back and then somersaults once before diving faultlessly into the clear waters.

BlackAdder cheers for Psuedo.

Lorita smiles, "You think I should give it a try, Quinn?"

Arianwen stretches out as she watches alternately the divers and the poeple, chucking softly at T'quinn.

Ethan cheers loudly...

Psuedo gathers up ther clothes.

Calana applauds.

Kershala looks around at the confusion of people.

Psuedo stalks off.

Kaeya sits down again, into the same position, and wraps her towel about her.

Dyane smiles at Kaeya, then at Quinn, "If you screw up, Kaeya will win." She applauds Psuedo, "Excellent!"

Tarin says "Very very nice!"

Dyane says "Ethan! Go!"

Ethan does a tarzan call, and runs for the vine!

Ethan grabs the vine, swings out and does four spectacular somersaults, but forgets to let go! The vine becomes twisted about an ankle for a moment before slipping free! All you see is an incredibly huge splash. *CANNONBALL*

T'quinn smiles to Lorita, "If you'd like, it's a lot of fun!"

Dyane doubles over and laughs!

Channie grins at the cannonball!

Shayna looks around excitedly, hovering on the edge of the crowd. She waves happily as she spots some Fort people, and then looks up at the divers with interest.

Tarin says "Hey, repeat of your first dive!"

Ethan comes out of the water limping...

BlackAdder grins.

Dyane says "Jerethan! Go!"

T'quinn blinks to Dyane and smiles, grinning to Kaeya challengingly.

Ethan winces

Ethan picks up his things, and follows after Psuedo

Kaeya smiles gently at T'quinn. "Nock em dead, rider."

Jerethan isn't about to interfere with a good thing. "Benden Weyr!" he yells for the third time as he takes the vine in hand and leaps.

Jerethan grabs the vine, swings out, releases, arcs before performing a pike dive flawlessly.

Waylund walks over to Daphne to introduce himself.

Tarin applauds, "Very nice!"

Jerethan steps onto the beach.

Calana applauds once more for Jerethan!

Dyane cheers!

T'quinn applauds.

Kaeya cmiles, congratulating Jerethan.

Jerethan emerges, grinning. "I'm learning, it seems!" he yells over to Rickon.

Lorita glances at Kaeya and arcs a brow, turning back to smle up at Quinn.

Rickon says "Hey! You've got hidden talents, Jereth. Shame there isn't a Divercraft. You'd be a Master!""

Tarin fixes the vine again with a glare and /dares/ it to move!

Dyane says "Solangia! Go!"

Channie picks up a bit of driftwood, drawing pictures in the sand while she waits.

Solangia grabs the vine, but slips, arms and legs flailing wildly before landing unceremoniously into the water below. *PLOP*

Jerethan blushes slightly but keeps grinning proudly. "Beginner's luck," he says.

Waylund says "Ave Domina, I am Waylund... and your name would be?"

T'quinn preps himself for his next dive, getting a weary suspicion that the vine's going to get the better of him.

Dyane blinks at Solangia, "Bellyflop, miss, bellyflop, plop."

Arianwen wonders if vines can smile smugly back at people.

Tarin calls down at Solangia, "At least you're consistent!"

Dyane says "Calana ... Go!"

Calana shakes her head and mutters, "Watch me miss..."

Calana swings out on the vine, releases but isn't able to twist quickly enough to avoid a bellyflop. *OUCH*

BlackAdder grins and just knows he's going to do another bad dive on his turn...

Dyane shakes her head and says, "Go BlackAdder!"

Tarin sighs and shakes his head.

T'quinn winces as he watches Calana, "Looks like it's getting pretty slippery."

Calana steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

BlackAdder sighs.

BlackAdder grabs the vine, but slips, arms and legs flailing wildly before landing unceremoniously into the water below. *PLOP*

Jerethan tells Rickon, "I think the name of our Weyr is good luck," he adds.

From the shallow waters, BlackAdder comes up, 'I knew it.'

BlackAdder steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

Dyane sighs again, "Boll lost last time ... You'd figger we'd get something!"

Shayna watches the diver for several moments, before making her way towards some of the craft tents.

Calana towels off completely and grabs her sarong, wrapping it back around her gingerly.

Tarin says "Such form, such style." He looks closer, "Such red skin!""

Arianwen grins to herself, "Other than wet?"

Dyane hushes the crowd!

Daphne looks around at Waylund. "I'm Daphne, baker at Benden Hold."

T'quinn watches Dyane expectantly.

BlackAdder also towels off and puts his clothes back on.

Jerethan grins over at Rickon, not really listening to Dyane.

Ethan motions to the Jungle PAth

BlackAdder grins to Calana.

Dyane says "Alright. This is T'quinn's last dive of the contest. He was last year's grand champion. Let's see how he does. But there is no pressure ... not at all ... its just his TITLE at risk"

Tarin says "No, not at all!"

Dyane smiles sweetly :)

Ceara giggles.

T'quinn blanches and razzes Dyane playfully, theen approaches the vine.

Ethan offers Psuedo his arm

Arianwen giggles softly, calling out to T'quinn, "Good luck then Grand Champion!"

T'quinn grabs at the vine, /misses/ it and lands in the water with an enormous splash. *SPLAT*

Calana smiles from where she leans against a tree, trying to hide the wince of pain following the smile.

From the shallow waters, T'quinn eeeeps as he surfaces.

Dyane falls over laughing her head off. Such a un-Ladylike pos with the Lady Holder, on her back in the sand with her arms around her middle, laughing at T'quinn's fine dive ... spectacular dive.

BlackAdder cheers at miss.

Ceara tries hard not to laugh.

T'quinn steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

Lorita grins at Quinn, barely stopping the giggle as she approaches the pool. "Are you all right, dear?"

Kaeya frowns, apologizing softly to Quinn.

Tarin falls over, nearly off the cliff while laughing.

Channie covers her mouth to hide her smile.

Elynie snickers, burying her face in her hands.

Arianwen hides a grin with her hand, "Better luck next year?"

T'quinn chuckles as he approaches Dyane, "Shame on you putting the pressure on me like that."

Dyane blinks up at Quinn innocently, "Me? I was just informing all these nice people what was going on ;)" Her smile to the bronzerider falsely sincere. "I wouldn't do that to you, darlin'." she drawls.

Dyane says "Ceara Go!"

Ethan nods

T'quinn chuckles to Kaeya, "No need to apologize." He does give Dyane a tragic look that speaks volumes about her and her look.

BlackAdder walks over to Calana, rubbing his right shoulder a bit, but grinning.

Waylund tries to see what Daphne is doing

T'quinn grins wryly to Dyane.

Ceara climbs up the hill for the last time, trying not to think about it as she goes for the vine.

Kaeya smiles gently at Channie, whispering back.

From the shallow waters, Ceara blubs at little, and wades toward shore, whimpering.

Ceara steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

Ethan smiles

Tarin draws himself up in front of the crowd, points imperiously at the vine and declares, "Just watch! It'll move!"

Dyane grins!

Tarin grabs the vine, but slips, arms and legs flailing wildly before landing unceremoniously into the water below. *PLOP*

Lorita shakes her head, "Quinn, you're something else."

Ethan glances to the Beasthall Pen

Channie nods and puts her feet out in front of her, wiggling her toes as she whispers.

Arianwen giggles again, "He was right."

Ceara walks over towards Anaryth and flops beside him, staring at the sky in shock.

Dyane laughs again, still not moved from her position on the sand from Quinn's turn. She finds this whole series of mishaps and misadventures highly entertaining ... or will until its her turn to have a mishap.

T'quinn chuckles to Tarin, "You were right!"

From the shallow waters, Tarin waves his hand at everyone and yells, "See! I told you!" =)

Tarin steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

T'quinn snugs Lorita.

Dyane takes a deep breath and makes a run for the vine.

BlackAdder says "Don't miss Dyane!"

Tarin waves wildly at the vine, trying to tell it to get out of the way!

Dyane grabs the vine, swings out, releases, arcs before performing a pike dive flawlessly.

From the shallow waters, Dyane splashes about wildly, "Yeeeeeeeeeees!!!" She pumps her fist in the air. "I did it!"

Dyane steps onto the sands and grabs a towel.

Tarin says "Way to go, Dy!"

Kaeya smiles, cheering for Dyane a bit quietly.

Arianwen adds her applause to everyone elses. "Nicely done."

Tarin bows to the crows and heads up the hill again.

Ceara looks up to See Dyane dive. "Yay! Very nice."

Kaeya nods, smiling at Channie.

T'quinn grins to Lorita, "I bet you could do it."

Rickon says "She's copying you, Jereth."

Jerethan glances over from his conversation with Rickon. "Wow!" he says, impressed. "I could never do that."

Jerethan turns his gaze back to RIckon. "Huh?" he says.

Dyane smiles, "We have a winner!

T'quinn continues to dry himself off and slip into his gear.

Lorita chuckles, "Perhaps later...I wonder who won.."

T'quinn winks to Lorita and watches Dyane.

Channie listens for the name of the winner

Kaeya looks up at Dyane, listening.

Gaelyn nudges Channie.

Calana chuckles softly, "Definitely not me."

BlackAdder says "Most definitly not me..."

Arianwen turns her attention to Dyane, watcing curiously.

Channie nudges Gaelyn back

BlackAdder grins.

Jerethan is still chatting with Rickon, not really listening.

Dyane says "Congratulations to Kaeya! She won first prize. Quinn won Second place. Psuedo won Third place!"

BlackAdder claps for Psuedo.

T'quinn smiles brightly to Kaeya "Congrats!"

Psuedo smiles, "Did I herar Third?"

Lorita hugs Quinn and applauds for the others.

Calana applauds for the winners.

Ceara claps for the winners. "Good going!"

Kaeya hmms, looking over at Quinn.

T'quinn smiles his congratulations to Pseudo as well.

Channie cheers for Kaeya!

Gaelyn applauds Kaeya!

Psuedo grins widely and runs up the hill.

Kaeya looks up, "me?"

Gaelyn whistes and cheers!

T'quinn nods happily to Kaeya.

Tarin repeats, "First: Kaeya, Second: Quinn and Third: Psuedo."

Kaeya blushes, and smiles her thanks.

Jerethan grins. "That was fun!" he says. He gives a cheerful wave to Dyane. "Thanks for letting me do that!" he calls.
